The German soprano Anna Schoeck has started early with her singing and violin education.
She studied singing at the “Hanns Eisler Academy of Music Berlin” with Prof. Heidrun Franz-Vetter and Prof. Wolfram Rieger. In 2006, she furthermore held a scholarship of the „Richard-Wagner-Stiftung” of the Bayreuth Festival.

2006/07 Anna Schoeck gave her debut at the Komische Oper Berlin where she appeared as Barbarina in „Le Nozze di Figaro”.

From 2007/2008 until 2011/12 Anna Schoeck was holding a scholarship of the “Franz-Josef-Weisweiler-Stiftung” at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, where she has sung roles like Pamina/“Die Zauberflöte“, Gretel/“Hänsel und Gretel“, Barbarina, La Novice/“Marie Victoire“, Frasquita/“Carmen“ and Pepa/“Tiefland“.

2009/10 she gave her role debut as Susanna/“Le Nozze di Figaro“ and Annina/“Eine Nacht in Venedig“ at the Stadttheater Bremerhaven.

In autumn 2010 Anna Schoeck gave her debut with the Berlin Staatsoper as Papagena  in a guest performance of “Die Zauberflöte“ in Poznan (Poland) under the baton of Sebastian Weigle.

At the Landestheater Schleswig-Holstein in Flensburg she gave her debut as Sonja in a new production of „Raskolnikov“ in spring 2011. Since September 2012 she is member of their ensemble. In November 2012 she successfully sang her first Mimi/”La Bohème” there, new productions of Jenny/”Mahagonny”, Tatjana/”Onegin”, Hermia/”Midsommer Night’s Dream” and Lisa/”Land des Lächelns”, Tatjana/”Eugen Onegin, Contessa/”Nozze di Figaro”, Micaela/”Carmen”, Daughter/”Cardillac” and many more followed.

In June 2012 Anna Schoeck gave her debut at the Théâtre du Capitole Toulouse – Hirt/”Tannhäuser”.

2013 included her debut at Oper Leipzig – Mariana/”Liebesverbot” – July 2013 at Bayreuth celebrating Wagner’s anniversary, followed by the revival in Leipzig in September 2013 and Trieste in 2014.

In summer 2014 she sang her first Contessa/”Nozze” at Opera Festival Jennersdorf.

Anna Schoeck will stay in the ensemble of Schleswig-Holstein Landestheater, she is regular guest at Toulouse and Oper Leipzig.
