Brazilian soprano Flavia Stricker (Striquer Lima) grew up in a musical home and started singing popular Brazilian music with her father. She studied music education at Londrina State University. While still in Brazil, she sang Frasquita/“Carmen“ and Sandmännchen/“Hansel and Gretel.“ From 2020 she studied at the University of Music Lübeck with Prof. Manuela Uhl. In the summer of 2023, she graduated with a master’s degree with a dream grade of 1.0.

In 2022 she sang Fiordiligi/“Cosi fan tutte“ in a project of the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg, as well as the soprano solo in Dvorak’s „Stabat Mater with the Chorakademie Lübeck. In 2023 she sang the leading role in  „Die schöne Galathée“ with Musikhochschule Lübeck, as well as the soprano solo in Bach’s h-minor mass with the Musikhochschule Hamburg. 

In July 2023, in addition to winning 2nd prize at the prestigious CLIP (Concorso Lirico Internazionale di Portofino) competition, she also won the Anneliese Rothenberger Sponsorship Prize from the Kulturstiftung Insel Mainau.

From season 23/24 she is a member of the International Opera Studio of the Zurich Opera.
